Word Push

Word Push is a new kind of word puzzle. The letters sit in a grid, and there's one spare letter waiting in a pocket under the board. Push the spare into any row or column and the letter at the far end drops out to become the new spare. Line the letters up so that every row spells a word.

It takes seconds to learn and it's hard to put down.

One simple move

Push the spare in from either end of any row or column. Tap an arrow round the edge, drag the spare onto an edge, or drag a row or column one step. That's the whole game. The puzzle is in which line to push: fixing one word can scramble the next.

Any real word counts

Every row just has to be a word. The spare is left over. Find a different answer from the one we had in mind and it still counts, and you might beat par.

Beat par for three stars

Every puzzle has a par: the moves our best solution takes. Match it for three stars. Undo is free, so experiment as much as you like.

Start with gentle 3×3 puzzles, work up to 4×4 grids, then take on the 5×5 challenges.
