Idle Fishing Empire
Cast a line off Grandad's jetty and build a fishing empire across generations.

Grandad left you his old hand reel and a jetty full of stories. Cast a line, land your first bream, and grow a family fishing business from one rod into a fleet, a company and an empire that passes down the generations.
Real fishing, one thumb
Hold to cast, watch the float nibble, strike on the bite, then keep the line tension in check as you reel. Snapper, salmon, king crab, bluefin tuna, marlin and 124 species in all, from common bream to legendary giants like Old Moses, the river ghost.
An idle empire that fishes while you're away
Rod holders, crab pots, tinnies, fishing boats, longliners, trawlers and fish farms keep catching when you put the phone down. Come back to a cooler full of fish, sell on a good market day, and buy the next boat.
Choose your path
The day you register your company, two people walk down the jetty: a fisheries officer with permit forms, and a man in a good suit with a thick envelope. Fish sustainably with quotas, permits and a good name, or take the envelope: bribes, bottom trawling and Heat. Overfish a ground and it collapses. Fish it well and it lasts.
Generations and endings
Every heir starts young with a hand reel and retires, or doesn't. Five endings: a quiet retirement, a marine park in your name, prison, a beach with no extradition treaty, or a fishing trip with your rival that only one of you comes back from. Each one pays legacy points into the family's perk trees.
Six fishing grounds, painted by hand
From Grandad's New South Wales estuary to the Great Barrier Reef, a monsoon river delta, the icy north sea, the open Pacific and the Southern Ocean. Each region has its own fish, its own legend and its own rule: tides, cyclones, monsoon floods, king crab season, pirates and a live tuna auction. Every scene and every fish is painted by hand.
