Tavern Heroes

Tavern Heroes is an idle RPG where you run the party, not the fight. Hire heroes at the tavern, kit them out with swords, bows and spells, and send them into the dungeon. Watch the battle play out, or go and make a cup of tea while they fight, and come back to their loot.

Watch them fight

Short missions play out on screen in rich 16-bit pixel art: warriors charge in, rangers loose arrows, mages fling spells and clerics keep everyone standing. Sit back, or call them home whenever you like.

Long missions while you're away

Send a party on a 2 to 12 hour Patrol, Campaign or Boss Campaign. You see their chance of success before they go, and when they return you can watch the final battle.

40 levels, 40 bosses

Forty unique levels, each with its own painted backdrop, its own boss and its own monsters: from the Crypt and the Glow Caves to the Dragon Hoard, the Haunted Carnival, the Nightmare Realm and the Shattered Heavens. Then take the Endless Dive as deep as your heroes can go.

18 hero classes

Six roles with three classes each: Warrior, Paladin, Mage, Necromancer, Ranger, Assassin, Monk and more. A new class turns up at the tavern with every level boss you beat. Hunters fight beside a wolf and Necromancers raise a thrall. Choose each hero's fighting style and when they drink potions.

Loot, upgrades and fusing

Common to Legendary gear, a Blacksmith to upgrade it, and fusing to turn spare items into one rarer piece, even the gear a hero is wearing. Every item shows exactly how much stronger it makes each hero.

Build your town

Tavern, Training Yard, Guild Hall, Blacksmith, Alchemist, Temple and Trophy Hall: every building makes your heroes stronger.

Retire and rise again

Retire your party for Renown, a permanent bonus that sends every new adventure deeper.

The spire, daily rewards and more

Find keys to climb the Spire, collect a reward every day for 30 days, unlock achievements and climb the Google Play leaderboards.

Play offline

No internet needed. Your heroes keep adventuring even while the game is closed.
