Delete your data — Sovereign

App: Sovereign (com.uyllii.sovereign)
Developer: UYLLII — David Oliver
Last updated: 18 August 2026

Sovereign has no accounts and no sign-in. The only data of yours held on my server is what the competitive modes upload — your solves, your screen name and your Joust rating, all keyed to a random id generated on your device. You can erase all of it from inside the app, without asking me.

How to delete your data

  1. Data on my server — in Sovereign, open SettingsDelete my dataDelete. Every record stored under your player id is erased immediately, and the app starts again with a new player id. Nothing is queued and there is nothing to wait for.
  2. Progress on your device — uninstall Sovereign. That removes it.
  3. Android's backup copy — Android Settings → Google → Backup. That copy is in your own Google Drive, not mine.
  4. Advertising ID — Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, where you can reset or delete it.
  5. If you have already uninstalled, or step 1 will not complete — email developer@uyllii.com with the subject “Delete my data”, quoting your player id if you still have it (Sovereign shows the first 8 characters in Settings). You will get a reply within 7 days and the records are deleted within 30 days.

What is deleted

DataWhere it isWhat happens
Uploaded solves — the board, your sequence of marks and their timings, your total time My server (Cloudflare) Deleted immediately at step 1. They stop being available as opponents for other players.
Screen name and Joust rating, and your win/loss record My server (Cloudflare) Deleted immediately at step 1. Your place on the ladder disappears with it.
Race history and any name reports you sent or received My server (Cloudflare) Deleted immediately at step 1.
Your player id — the random identifier all of the above is keyed to Your device and my server The server record is deleted, and the app generates a new id on the spot. The old id is never used again.
Game progress — levels, coins, streaks, settings Your device Removed when you uninstall. Deleting your data at step 1 deliberately leaves this alone, so you do not lose your campaign by erasing your ladder record.
Advertising ID Your device, shared with Google AdMob Reset or deleted in Android settings. I never receive it.

What is kept, and for how long

DataRetentionWhy
Other players' race records that happen to name your old player id as the opponent Kept, with your id removed Those rows are another player's own history of races they ran. Your identifier is erased from them, so nothing of yours remains — but the row itself is theirs, not yours, and deleting it would delete their record.
Purchase records for Remove Ads, Unlimited Lives, Unlimited Joust and coin packs Generally 5 years Australian tax and record-keeping law, and refund handling. Held by Google Play and RevenueCat as part of the transaction record. They contain no name or contact detail supplied to me.
Analytics events — which mode you opened, how a run ended, whether an ad was watched (added 18 August 2026) Google's retention schedule for the property Held by Google, keyed to an app instance identifier it generates and NOT to your player id — so step 1 cannot reach it and neither can I: there is nothing in it I can look up as yours. Uninstalling ends that instance and a reinstall is a new one; declining the ad consent choice stops new events being collected. Nothing you have written and no player id of yours is in it.
Any email you send me about deletion Up to 12 months Proof the request was received and actioned.

What was never collected

Sovereign has no accounts, no sign-in and no password. It never collects your real name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos or files. Your screen name is whatever you type — letters and digits only — and is the only thing other players ever see. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
